# Artificial Brain generation copycat from a normnal brain possible?

Hello, everyone I’m new to this cite and I would like to know if artificial brains can be generated by coding a whole brain using the capabilities of AI? Or are we to far off from such advancements? Can we start for example with normal rat brains or even something smaller?

I would recommend to take a look at the following couple review papers:

[NeuroAI for AI Safety](https://neuroaisafety.com/4-sec-wbs) (and other chapters in that large online review paper)

The latter is written from the point of view of brain modeling for AI safety, but it does a pretty good job in explaining where the field of brain modeling currently is.

Thank you for your timely reply, it is much appreciated. I can see from the sources you posted that some specialization in Neuroscience and especially computational Neuroscience will be required to understand this better.
