I need to download high-resolution coronal Nissl sections of the adult mouse brain (the raw image format with imaging metadata for scaling). Is there a link where I can download the full set for systematic random section selection for stereological analysis? I will be using these images for stereological analysis using various software. If I can get a link to a download site, it would be fantastic where I can download them as .zip file. Thank you.

Hello, unfortunately I don’t think there is a way to get a .zip file, but you are able to download images through the AllenSDK API. Here are two pages of documentation that hopefully can help.

Example on downloading images from different atlases using the API: [Atlas Drawings and Ontologies - Allen Brain Atlas API](http://help.brain-map.org/display/api/Atlas+Drawings+and+Ontologies#AtlasDrawingsandOntologies-DownloadingAtlasImagesAndGraphics)

API documentation: [allensdk.api.queries.image\_download\_api module — Allen SDK dev documentation](https://allensdk.readthedocs.io/en/latest/allensdk.api.queries.image_download_api.html#allensdk.api.queries.image_download_api.ImageDownloadApi)
