The ipfx developers would like to announce the immediate availability of version 2.1.2 of ipfx released on the 10th Dec 2025 to [pypi](https://pypi.org/project/IPFX/2.1.2/).

Release highlights:

- Support python 3.14 and drop support for python 3.9
- Support newer pynwb 3.1.2 and make it a fixed dependency again
- Modernize packaging and move to pyproject.toml using hatch
- Remove dependency on allenSDK
