Hi everyone,

I’m working with the Visual Coding 2P data, and I’m interested in understanding what methods and calculations were used to derive the provided neuropil traces. So far, I haven’t been able to find any details in the technical whitepapers or in other documentation online. If anyone could point me towards relevant resources or share insights on this process, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you!

This is documented in the Visual Coding Overview white paper that can be found here ([Documentation: Brain Observatory](https://community.brain-map.org/t/documentation-brain-observatory/3026)) as well as in the Methods section of our platform paper found here: [A large-scale standardized physiological survey reveals functional organization of the mouse visual cortex | Nature Neuroscience](https://www.nature.com/articles/s41593-019-0550-9)

Good luck!

Thank you so much! Just to be absolutely certain: the neuropil corrected traces are obtained by get\_corrected\_fluorescence, and neuropil is obtained by get\_neuropil?
