# Mouse Atlas Position Ordering

Hi, I was wondering if the position order for the mouse brain images were sequentially correct. Just eyeballing the images on the [ACHE stain dataset](https://connectivity.brain-map.org/static/referencedata/experiment/thumbnails/100140478?image_type=ACHE&popup=true) and the [Mouse, P56, Coronal Dataset](https://mouse.brain-map.org/experiment/thumbnails/100048576?image_type=atlas), and hovering my cursor over each image to get the position, it seems like they are in order, but I just wanted to double check.

All images are in section order. They are sectioned and tracked by the histology team. In addition each image has a specimen\_tissue\_index field to specifically track this ordering. You are correct that this can be seen by hovering over the images–they increment by four for each image going left to right, top to bottom.
