Amirah K. Anderson is currently working on optimizing immunoassays and monitoring changes in synaptic plasticity in Alzheimer’s Disease. Previously, for graduate research, she used bioinformatic approaches to detect novel transcripts from RNA-Seq blood profiles to improve diagnosis and prediction of Alzheimer’s Disease. In her future career, she is curious about plasticity and resilience in neurons and networks related to neurodevelopmental disorders.
