Dear Allen Institute Team,
I have developed a non-commercial academic web application called vdFISH (virtual double fluorescence in situ hybridization), which allows users to visualize the spatial expression and co-expression of two genes using data derived from the Allen Brain Cell Atlas.
I would like to archive vdFISH as research software on Zenodo and obtain a DOI so that the software can be cited as a research output.
The archived package may include the source code and a limited amount of processed/derived data from the Allen Brain Cell Atlas that are necessary for the application to function. I do not intend to redistribute the original full Allen datasets. The application and archived software will be provided for academic, non-commercial use only, and the Allen Institute, the original dataset, and the relevant primary publications will be clearly cited.
Could you please confirm whether this type of Zenodo archiving and distribution of processed Allen Brain Cell Atlas–derived data is permitted under the Allen Institute Terms of Use?
If additional attribution, licensing language, restrictions, or other requirements are necessary, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.
