Exploring the Latest Updates on the Allen Brain Atlas!

Hi everyone,

I have been diving into the Allen Brain Atlas and have found the resource incredibly valuable for understanding brain structure and function. However…, I am curious about the most recent updates on the Atlas. I understand that it’s continuously evolving but I would love to hear about any new features or improvements that have been made in recent months.

Have there been any updates to the gene expression data: ??
Are there any new brain regions added or updated: ??
Is there a way to better integrate the data with other tools or research projects: ??

I have been using the Atlas for a few personal research projects and I am eager to make sure I am leveraging its full potential. Would appreciate any insights or tips from others who have used it recently.

Thanks in advance !!

With Regards,

Hi! A few quick questions: are you referring to the Allen Brain Atlas featuring in situ hybridization and histological data, or are you referring to the Allen Brain Cell Atlas which features single cell RNAseq and spatial transcriptomic data? Or is there another atlas you are referring to? And which species? We have had a lot of recent updates for many of our atlas projects!
