We have developed several enhancements to the CCFv3 atlas, which may be of interest to the broader community. Is there a way to perform a ‘merge request’ back into the Allen Mouse Brain Annotation atlas?
The Allen Institute does not have a way to do this. That said, we would encourage you to post your work somewhere and make it publicly available (e.g., via Zenodo) and then link it back to this post. This could improve community usage and would also allow others to cite your work.
@dkeller, if it’s of interest, we’d be very happy to help you add it to the BrainGlobe Atlas API - a standardised interface to anatomical atlases - so researchers could use your version alongside the original.
