I’m trying to find out why certain areas were left out in the connectivity model. The paper names a few reasons for why certain experiments were left. Some areas are listed as having been left out for these reasons in the supplementary tables of the paper, but I’m looking specifically for VISa. There is no mention of it anywhere although it is a big part of the isocortex. Additionally there are experiments fitting the description in the paper (male mice, EGFP, wild type) and in those VISa is targeted. The injection volume is very small but the paper doesn’t mention what the cutoff is (at least I didn’t see it). Is there a page or document somewhere, where it is described in more detail, which experiments specifically were left out, and for what reason?
I am referencing the paper “A mesoscale connectome of the mouse brain“
I think I have found my answer, which is that instead of VISa, its parent structure PTLp was targeted, but I’m still very confused about how to figure out which experiments are meant by the 469 experiments mentioned. I am trying to filter them out using criteria like strain, gender and injection_structures, but no matter what combination of filters I try, the number of experiments is always different from 469. Is there anywhere that a list of experiment IDs can be found that were used in the paper?
EDIT
I found it… They’re listed in the supplementary table 1
