MICrONs - cannot access GitHub Repo for Schneider-Mizell et al. 2025

Hello,

When I was accessing the analysis gallery page in the microns tutorial, the repository for code files from Schneider-Mizell et al. 2025 is not populating. I get an “error 404 page does not exist” warning. The other github repositories for the other publications in the Nature collection ( Microns Consortium, Ding, Wang, Elabbady, Gamlin, Cellii, and Dorkenwald) are populating when I click on those pages.

Thanks,

MP

Hello,

I’m just following up to see if the GitHub repo can be made accessible for the Schneider-Mizell et al. 2025 paper. It is still unavailable. I have tried accessing it from the Nature paper under “Code Availability” and I am still getting error 404. I have attached a link to the repo directly, here.

Not sure if you’re the right person for this @tylermo but would you happen to know who to connect to ensure access to the Github repo?

Thanks,

MP

Thank you for the query! The repo was inadvertently set to private and has been updated to be public. It should be available now!

Wonderful, thank you so much @ceesem ! I do have another question though.

I’m working on a macbook pro M3Pro Apple silicon chip. I tried opening and running the jupyter notebooks for some of the MICrONS papers (Elabbady et al., 2025; Schneider-Mizell et al., 2025), and I run into dependency issues, that my versions of numpy or pandas are too new. I think there’s an issue where certain older versions of python cannot be installed on Macs with apple silicon because their hardware is too new. I wasn’t sure if there’s a workaround for that. If you have any insights I would really appreciate that.

Thanks!
