Have you ever wondered what cool tools other scientists have created from all of the open-source Allen Brain Map resources? Well we did too!
Now active on Allen Brain Map is a database of community-developed tools which utilize Allen Brain Map resources. This database includes ~100 educational tutorials, computational tools, and data repositories, and we encourage you to explore it for fun or to find tools to further your research.
If you know of a tool that we missed, please let us know by filling out this form.
This database and associated website was created by Priya Deliwala as part of the Allen Institute summer internship program.

Hi all, the page of community tools seems to no longer exist. Is there a new URL?
Good catch. The correct link is here: Community Tools Index.
(We are working on a new way to submit tools, and will update te above link accordingly when it’s ready.)
Thank you Jeremy. I have a useful tool to submit, it creates and fixes meshes in a neuroscientific way. All Python, no C compiler needed.
I’d like to run a few more tests before releasing it, so far it works great but the QA team hasn’t seen it yet, they have magic fingers, they can break anything just by touching it. If it gets by them, I’ll release it to the world.
