Currently the Transcriptomics Explorer loads with a set of notable genes that characterize the entire taxonomy. The Explorer does not currently expose marker genes for every Cell Type or Cell Set - that functionality is expected in 2020. Researchers can identify these marker genes themselves by downloading the data and doing offline analysis.
