Here’s an answer from one of our Scientists working on this project:
Based on injection data from the Allen Connectivity Atlas, we have determined a set of coordinates from Bregma that reliably target VISp, the primary visual area. To target VISp in the left hemisphere, move posterior from bregma along the skull by 3.8 mm, and then travel from that point laterally to the left by 2.5 mm. This should be the approximate center of the primary visual area.
