Dear Community,
I was wondering if anybody is aware of some general reference quantifying grey/white matter content, say, per 1cmx1cm blocks of human brain sections.
Alternatively, given a collection of brain section images, is there an code to quantify GM/WM per block of brain slice?
I have never measure GM/WM content but for all things quantitative in neuroanatomy I always use “Unbiased Stereology” by Howard and Reed, and for this particular topic chapter 4 might be relevant.
