CCFv3 Highlights: "Tilting at the cortex"

By request, below are 3D renderings of the same sub-sample of streamlines (in the same colors) as shown in the post to provide 3D spatial context to all the “confetti”.

This first image is a top-view of the streamlines and the entire MOp 3D border. In this view, you can more clearly observe that the MOp border is composed of streamlines forming a curve 3D ribbon. The crosshair is at the same “red” streamline as the images in the post.

The second image zooms into the region near the coronal and paracoronal border (after 23 degree rotation) shown in panel (D) and (H).

The third image is at the same location, zoom and viewing angle as the previous image with the additional of the colorized streamlines. In this view, a white box is drawn around 10 streamlines. Below we annotate the same set of streamlines in panel (D) the zoomed in coronal view and (H) the zoomed in paracoronal view.

Fromt this rendering, you can observe that coronal border seen cuts across multiple colorized streamline while the paracoronal border is close to parallel to the orange streamline on the border (and inside the white box).
